I was rereading through my messages and came across this. My friend, Michael, is an unbeliever. On New Years Eve, when a bunch of “christians” are getting drunk, I wasn’t. On top of it, December 31st is my birthday. Now, I don’t want to come across as if I were bragging, but the point is the conversation. He noticed the difference. He asked why I wasn’t partying like I was the year before, gave him the gospel, then he asked for my testimony. I gave him the short version and the whole “You…. actually follow God,” part made me realize if you were to do you role as a Christian, people would see God’s grace flowing through you. If you actually take up your cross, like Jesus commands you to, then you would reach unbelievers. I’m sure all of you have heard this before, but people watch you. It effects them. I would know first hand because I was a christian watcher for years.
